These are super bright and look cool!Installed in the basement and what a difference they made. I will be ordering more for the other half of the basement.Excellent in shops and art studios. Currently in use in the 2X in the garage. On 2 portable lamps , an amiable table lamp and a torchLamp. And 2 60W in the trade skills shop. All 5K to 7KI have bought 6 light bulbs. Originally they started out well as described. However, the warranty is only one year. Strange thing is that these light bulbs started failing one after another after one year passed. Now, I have only 2 that are working. I use these light bulbs as a normal home owner would. I did not abuse them. I am starting to believe that the company did not design them to last long in order to get bigger sale volume. It is a shame. I would stay away from these light bulbs at all cost. You would rather pay a bit more to get a better product that would last at least a few years.First one was slightly defected and would not screw in. Exchange was easy through Amazon. Second one installed in a minute. Moved arms up halfway and works great. Provides right amount of light (8000 lumens) for my two car garage. Would highly recommend.Had to return 2 of the lights. One didn't work at all. The other's brightness would dim and bright on its own which was very annoying. The 2 lights that I kept are working well.These lights are great! I purchased the 2 pack to replace LED conversion can lights in the back of a walk out basement. The LED conversion lights helped but it still was darker than I wanted. Bought these and it is now bright bright bright! The included socket extension was long enough to screw into the original recessed light socket so installation was a breeze.Pros: 1. Very bright light; 2. Socket extension is included 3. Has three brightness levels controlled through the light switch; 4. Perfect for garage, basement, attic, storage area, shed, etc.Cons: 1. This is a high K light so may be too 'harsh' of light for some and likely not suitable for a living area such as family room or bed room where a 'softer' light is desirable.Does the light function as advertised? Yes.Would I buy again: Yes, I ordered two more for an atticDoes the job well.
